At Martinsville Speedway, the grandstands surround the entire paperclip-shaped oval, giving spectators excellent visibility from almost every angle. Along the frontstretch, fans can watch the start/finish line, pre-race ceremonies, and pit lane activity up close. As the seating continues into the corners, you can follow the cars diving into Turn 1 or accelerating hard out of Turn 4. It’s a classic short-track layout where the full circuit usually stays within view.
Located at Turn 1, this stand places you right at one of the most intense braking zones on the track. It’s a prime spot to watch drivers attack the corner, battle side by side, and fight for position.
Positioned between Turns 1 and 2, this grandstand offers a traditional short-track perspective where many overtaking attempts begin. You’ll see close racing as drivers set up moves through the opening corners.
This is the main frontstretch grandstand, rising high with seating reaching up to row 66. From here, you get a broad overview of the race, including pit road activity, restarts, the start/finish line, and the charge down the front straight. It’s ideal for fans who want a complete view of the event.
Closer to Turn 4, this tower provides a clear look at the pit exit and the approach to one of the tightest corners on the circuit. Although smaller than Blue Ridge Tower, it offers a great angle on late-braking battles and closing laps.
These lower frontstretch seats, typically rows three to sixteen, sit directly in front of the Petty and Blue Ridge Towers. You’ll feel close to the action here, with the sound and vibration of the cars especially noticeable as they pass at full speed.
Curving around Turns 3 and 4, this grandstand overlooks a heavy braking zone where overtakes are often attempted. It’s an excellent location to watch drivers set up passes and power back onto the frontstretch.
Situated near Turn 2, this tower gives a clear perspective on both Turns 1 and 2, along with a good view down the backstretch. It’s a favourite spot for watching drivers battle for track position before heading toward Turn 3.
Positioned above Turn 1, this open-air viewing area offers elevated, unobstructed sightlines. It provides a wider perspective of the first half of the circuit and a strong overall sense of the race.
Located on the backstretch, this is a hospitality space rather than a traditional grandstand. It combines premium viewing with a more relaxed, social environment.
Found at Turn 3, this hospitality area focuses on close-up viewing of the braking zone as drivers enter the corner. It delivers a distinctive race-day experience with a strong sense of proximity to the action.
