ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES (ADA)

Martinsville Speedway works to ensure race weekend is accessible and comfortable for all fans. With designated seating, accessible parking, and on-site transport assistance, the venue provides several services to support guests with disabilities as well as their companions.

Accessible seating

Accessible viewing areas are available in two primary locations. Fans can choose seating beneath the Old Dominion Tower between Turns 1 and 2, or the front row of the Bill France Grandstands in Turns 3 and 4. These areas are designed to accommodate wheelchair users, and companion seats can usually be purchased nearby so groups can enjoy the race together.

Parking

Accessible parking is located behind Turn 2 and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors should display a valid disability parking permit on the rearview mirror before arriving at the entrance, along with photo identification if requested. The permit must be current and may only be used when the registered holder is present in the vehicle, either as the driver or a passenger.

Getting around the venue

To help with mobility around the facility, Martinsville Speedway operates handicap assistance golf carts in cooperation with Raceway Ministries. These shuttles typically connect the ADA parking area, nearby campgrounds, and the main entrances. They do not stop at individual campsites or specific parking spots. Due to high demand, particularly in the few hours leading up to the race start, waiting times can approach an hour. After the race, service is usually paused for roughly 45 minutes while pedestrian traffic clears before resuming.

General advice

If you plan to use accessibility services, arriving early and allowing additional time for movement around the venue is recommended. Peak periods can involve delays, but with some advance planning, Martinsville Speedway aims to provide an inclusive and enjoyable race-day experience for every visitor.
